Die sozialen Kämpfe und die dauernden Kriege führen zur Aussichtslosigkeit. Der Mensch ist in einer Situation, wo keiner weiss, wohin die Menschheit sich steuert. Da und dort Maschinen. Da und dort Gruppierungen. Da und dort Reiche und Arme. Aber immer allgegenwärtig die Ungerechtigkeit. Man sagt, die antike Welt habe schon angefangen zu Zeiten Ciceros sich zu verdummen. So ist es auch heute. Heute soll niemand verdummen, weil man die Technologie erfunden hat. Aber die Menschheit irrt sich und die Verdummung hat schon lange Inangriffnahme. Wenn der Mensch sich von Aufwallungen hinreissen lässt und im Strohfeuer und Entsetzen sich ausser sich versetzt, so zustrebt der Mensch in eine tiefere Stufe; Nähmlich in die Tierheit.
