Weshalb rühmen sich viele Galerien, dass sie erfolgreich sind, in dem sie bloss kommerzielle Kunst vertreten. Wirtschaftliche Entscheidung ist noch lange nicht ein Erfolg. Die Errungenschaft ist nur ökonomisch. Roman Norbert Ketterer (1911-2002) oder Ernst Beyeler (1921-2010) kann man als erfolgreicher Kunstsammler und Galerist bezeichnen. Wenn sich jedoch Galeristen, wie zum Beispiel Galerist W. Grusdat, sich rühmen, dass sie erfolgreich sind, dann muss man nicht staunen. Pop Art ist längst etabliert. Sogar ebenfalls Martin Naville ist von der Pop Art begeistert. Warum die Masse die Romantik ebenso die Oberschicht die klassische Kunst verhätschelt liegt auf der Hand. Für die Mehrzahl der Menschen ist der ästhetische Genuss eine geistige Haltung. Sie darf sich nicht wesentlich von dem alltäglichen Leben unterscheiden. Daher der Gegenstand, mit dem die Masse sich in der Kunst beschäftigt und der Zielpunkt ihrer Aufmerksamkeit sowie der seelischen Potenzen, ist der gleiche wie sonst im Leben. Also sprich Menschen und menschliche Leidenschaften. Die Autodidakten, die die neue Richtung und Kunst erschaffen, haben die Masse gegen sich und werden sie immer gegen sich haben. Sie ist volksfremd und sie wird als systemfeindlich bezeichnet. Sie wird von der dichten Ueberzahl nicht verstanden. Dagegen erkennen die wenigen sich selbst und einander im eintönigen Grau der vielen, und, sie alle haben als die wenigen es schwer und werden es immer schwer haben, anerkannt zu werden. An die Autodidakten muss man zuerst vertrauen. Diese Art erfordert enorme Begabtheit, und, diese Begabtheit besitzen nur ganz wenige. Die Werke von Malewitsch, Rousseau, Gauguin oder van Gogh waren nicht das System und auch nicht die Masse. Ihre Arbeit war reine Soziologie. Diese Künstler haben die Gesellschaft projiziert und erweckten in der Masse das Gefühl von Ekel, Pein sogar Beschämung. Bis heute existiert für sogenannte Autodidakten keine Instanz. Weder eine Galerie, eine Stiftung oder vielversprechende Stipendien. Dagegen existieren für Absolventen der Kunstgewerbeschule oder Akademie etliche Angebote und Finanzierungen. Ein Autodidakt ist ein Unterdrückter des Ancien Régime. Die Herren des Ancien Régime fühlen sich wie eine beleidigte Leberwurst, sobald ein Autodidakt neue Richtung und Ansicht konstatiert. Ein Autodidakt der sich als Künstler erkennt, hat den Mut und Wille das Leid zu ertragen (wie in dem Bild von Paul Gauguin "Selbstbildnis mit gelbem Christus"). An der Vernissage in der Galerie Terminus vom Galerist Wilhelm Grusdat, heisst es in einem Interview, 400 Gäste seien anwesend gewesen. Angeblich verkaufte Vincent van Gogh in seinem ganzen Leben nur ein einziges Bild für 400 FF (Französische Francs). Ist jetzt sowas die Ironie der Geschichte oder die Ironie des Schicksals?

Therefore i.e. people and human passions. The autodidacts, who create the new direction and art, have the masses against itself and will have it always against itself. It is people strange and it becomes as hostile of the system designated. It is not understood of the dense majority. On the other hand the few to recognize themself and one another in the monotonous gray of the many, and, them all have as the few it difficult and will have it always difficult, to be acknowledged. At the autodidacts, one first must trust. This character requires enormous giftedness, and, this giftedness to possess only few entirely. The works of Malevich, Rousseau, Gauguin or van Gogh were not the system and also not the masses. Theirs work was pure sociology. These artists have to project the society and awaked in the masses the feeling of disgust, pain even embarrassment. To the present exists for so-called autodidacts no agency. Neither a gallery, a foundation or very promising scholarship systems. On the other hand exist for graduate of arts school or academy some offers and funds. An autodidact is a suppressed of the Ancien Régime. The signors of the Ancien Régime feel like an sorehead as soon as an autodidact establishes new direction and view. An autodidact of that as an artist recognizes itself, has the courage and volition the sorrow to bear (like in the picture of Paul Gauguin "Self portrait with yellow Christ"). At the vernissage in the gallery Terminus of the gallery owner Wilhelm Grusdat, they say in an interview, had been present 400 guests. Nominally Vincent van Gogh in his full life only a single picture sold for 400 FF (French Francs). A such thing is now the irony of the history or the irony of the fate?
